City Clerk's Office annual report 2011
The City Clerk's Office mission is to build public trust and confidence in local
government. We do this every day, in many ways. We manage the decisionmaking process, conduct elections and strive to build a culture of openness at
the City. 2011 was a year of many pressures and challenges, but these did not
overshadow our many accomplishments. This Annual Report describes how
the City Clerk's Office has strengthened the foundations of government in
Toronto. It outlines how we strive toward our vision of a city in which all are
fully engaged in an open and accessible local government.
